Özellikle göl civarına kurulan turistik tesisler ile turizm geliri her geçen gün artmaktadır.Özellikle ilçe çevresinde bulunan Maşukiye, Kırkpınar gibi yerleşim birimlerinde pek çok tatil köyleri ve yazlıklar kurulmuştur.Son senelerde gelişme gösteren bir diğer bölge ise Maşukiye yakınlarındaki Samanlı Dağlarından en yükseği olan Kartepe’dir. Burada kurulan yeni tesisler ile kış turizmi de gelişmeye başlamıştır.

Many holiday villages and summer houses have been established especially in settlements such as Maşukiye and Kırkpınar around the district. Another region that has developed in recent years is Kartepe, the highest of the Samanlı Mountains near Maşukiye. .
